How I Beat the Odds and Made Money As a Newbie Affiliate Marketer

Here’s my story…
Just like most new internet entrepreneurs (newbies), I started my online business lacking things which are essential for marketing and making money.
I started out with nothing. Zero… Zip… Zilch… Nada. No website and blog, no traffic, no email list, no products and services to sell; and of course, no sales and profits.
Despite all the things I lacked, I still felt it was possible to start and build a profitable business online. I believed that I could get the things I didn’t have and I could learn the things I didn’t know.
It was really tough for me when I was just starting out. I remember all the frustrations and the overwhelming fear that I wasn't going to make it. I was working so hard, but I was still not making any money. I spent a lot of sleepless nights worrying about failing.
I was spinning my wheels in so many different directions and not getting any results. It took some time before I eventually started learning how to use some marketing strategies and applying what I learned.
Yes, I had to watch lots of marketing videos and learn from lots of information products in order to achieve that. And just like millions of struggling newbies, I ended up spending thousands of dollars buying many information products.
Millions of struggling entrepreneurs end up spending over $10,000 to $20,000 to buy marketing information products and tools desperately trying to get results. Sadly, I was one of them.
Most of the strategies I learned didn’t lead to any results. So, I continued to struggle for a while. I persisted and continued educating myself about marketing online until I finally started to get some sales.
At first, I only made a few dollars infrequently. As I learned more, I also started making more money. After a while, my affiliate marketing campaigns were generating hundreds then thousands of dollars.
I learned a lot from my experience as a newbie. Although when I look back on it, I’m shocked that there were so many INEFFECTIVE marketing strategies being promoted online. Sadly, this continues to be a common practice today.
I don’t think marketing gurus are intentionally trying to cause newbies to fail.
Nevertheless, ineffective marketing strategies commonly recommended by many gurus have unnecessarily delayed progress for millions of entrepreneurs -- for many months or even years!
I also made the mistake of actually applying and using these ineffective marketing strategies; this caused me to waste a lot of time, money and effort.
What finally turned things around for me is that I started ignoring the gurus and all the supposedly “common-sense wisdom” they were sharing. Instead, I started testing and tracking all the marketing strategies I used. I only relied on the results of my own tests -- and I just followed the money.
As I learned more, I also earned more.
When I was a newbie, I didn’t get much traffic to my site, I didn’t have an email list and I didn’t have my own products. I was selling products and services as an affiliate for other businesses.
Using the same traffic and sales generation strategies that I’m going to share with you in this course, I finally started making some money.
Some campaigns only made a few hundred dollars; others, made a few thousand dollars. As I learned to improve my marketing skills, I started generating over $6,340, $22,480 and $33,969 from my campaigns.
Some campaigns generated over $1,000 a day, but fizzled out in a matter of days. Other campaigns continued generating conversions and profits for a few months to over a year.

Of course, many campaigns didn’t make any money for me. But, I only gave myself a budget of $5 to $20 to test conversion of various affiliate offers. I promptly stopped marketing non-converting or non-profitable offers. The only offers I continued marketing were just the profitable ones.
My risk for testing conversion and profitability of any product was very low. Since I ditched losing campaigns quickly, my loss was limited to $5 to $20 per campaign. However, the rewards of profitable campaigns were huge!
Think about it. If you could get $2 for every $1 you spend marketing, how much money would you spend to make even more money? As much as you could!
This is how some marketers make 6-7 figures monthly. They use paid marketing strategies to buy rapid results and then they just keep re-investing their profits to make even more money.
Using pay-per-click digital marketing strategies, you can get as much as $2 to $4 or even more for every $1 you spend. Using email marketing strategies, you can even get as much as $41 for every $1 you spend.
When your business is profitable, it’s easy to justify increasing your marketing spend to make even more profits. Once you have a profitable campaign, you can end up with UNLIMITED marketing budget by re-cycling your initially tiny budget.

When I was a newbie, I was only working barely part-time for my online business because I was helping my brother and my mom who were dealing with serious health issues.
The extra income I earned from my online business allowed me to take more time off from work to care for my loved ones. I am very grateful for the chance to help my family when they needed me the most.
Sadly, my loving mom passed away in February 2012. A couple of weeks after her passing, my beloved bother passed away in March 2012.
By learning how to generate traffic on demand, I was able to use affiliate marketing to generate multiple income streams. In turn, this allowed me to have more time and money to help my loved ones.
It allowed me to have the flexibility to travel often to help my brother in Southern California and also care for my mom in Northern California (she started living with me in 2010). It allowed me to take frequent time off from work without having to worry about financial issues.
In spite of the tough economy during that time, having an income-generating online business allowed me to have the sense of security that I still would have been okay financially -- even if I ended up losing my job due to my frequent time off from work.
Despite the challenges, I was able to earn 5-figures extra income online from affiliate marketing part-time. The rest of my income came from working part-time as a Registered Nurse Case Manager.
Of course, I couldn’t always take care of my online business due to stress related to caregiving and concerns about my own health. I also needed to travel a lot. So, I took frequent breaks from business. Sometimes, I took many weeks off. Other times, I took many months off and just stopped marketing completely.
I wanted to share my story with you because I wanted to share with you how my online business empowered me to help my loved ones. If you’re like most entrepreneurs, your primary reason for starting and building your online business is to help your family.
I also wanted to show you that it really is possible to start and build a business online… even when you don’t have a lot of time and money.

I’m truly grateful for what I was able to accomplish as a newbie entrepreneur and the flexibility it offered me -- it allowed me to spend more precious time with people that mattered most to me. Although I did not know it when I started my entrepreneurial journey, I was giving my last gifts to my loved ones.
And there were other gifts…
